Chogan Olfazeta is the brand name the company sells its perfumes under, and the range splits into two halves that work in completely different ways. On one side sit the perfumes identified by a number, each inspired by a known fragrance, across two tiers: Millesime, the broad one, and Luxury, inspired by niche houses and sold in 50 ml. On the other side sit the original creations with names, such as the Mytologik collection and the Nadir and Imperatrix pair, which are not modelled on anything and carry no number. Getting this split straight prevents the most common mistake of all: hunting for the designer behind a perfume that has none.
What Olfazeta is
It is the umbrella brand for Chogan’s fragrances. The line itself dates back to around 2016, when the perfumes were sold by number alone under the Luxury and Millesime labels. The Olfazeta name arrived in 2024 and gathered up everything that already existed, with its own social accounts and new bottle formats. The numbering carried over untouched.
That is why you can still find Chogan perfume lists in circulation that never use the word Olfazeta and sell exactly the same references. They are not different products.
According to the brand, the perfumes are made in Italy and concentration runs up to 30% essence, which places them in extrait de parfum territory. The essences come from partners in the Grasse fragrance industry in France. Both points come from Chogan and its resellers rather than from independent testing.
What a Chogan perfume number means
The Chogan perfume numbers are fixed, and that is how you buy them. No name, no packaging borrowing anyone else’s identity: only 094, 042, 118. The practical upside is that someone who liked 016 can reorder 016 two years later and get the same thing.
The main sequence runs from 001 past 160 and keeps growing with each release. Which perfume each number tracks is a separate story, because Chogan does not publish that mapping: it circulates on lists compiled by consultants.
Millesime and Luxury: the two numbered tiers
This is where sources disagree most, so let me separate what is solid from what is not.
The Chogan Millesime label is printed across most of the numbered range and works as a quality designation rather than a collection with its own numbering. In practice, resellers use the word mainly for references inspired by mainstream designer perfumes.
Luxury is the tier above: references inspired by niche houses, sold in 50 ml bottles at a higher price. That is where 118, 137, 117 and 111 live. Some releases are announced by the brand itself as extrait de parfum entries in the Luxury Collection.
The confusing part is that both labels reuse the same number sequence. There is no separate Millesime and Luxury numbering: there is one sequence, and the tier shows up in the bottle size and the price.
Why the bottle carries two numbers
Because the second one is the format. The base code identifies the fragrance and a 3 in front identifies a smaller bottle of that same fragrance. A French reseller product page spells it out: 016 is the 70 ml, 316 is the 30 ml. The same pattern repeats on 094 and 394, on 042 and 342, on 033 and 333.
For references that already run to three digits, the size code takes four, as in 3114. And the volume behind each prefix is not consistent everywhere: some markets work in 20 and 100 ml, others in 30 and 70 ml. Read the second number as “another format of the same perfume” and confirm the volume on the order.
Which sizes exist now
The packaging is mid-transition, which adds to the confusion. The current formats in the numbered range are 100 ml and the 35 ml mini; 20 ml still appears on price lists; 70 ml is a legacy size that circulates while stock lasts. The 50 ml belongs to the Luxury line and the named creations, not to the standard range.
Indicative prices from August 2026, taken from reseller lists: around 10.50 euros for the 20 ml, 15.50 for the 35 ml mini, 30 for the 100 ml and 52 for the 50 ml Luxury. The full table is in my Chogan perfume price guide.
Mytologik, Nadir and the perfumes with no number
Nobody explains this part of the range, and it accounts for half the questions I get.
The Chogan Mytologik collection holds seven mythology-themed perfumes in 100 ml bottles, at around 299 euros each (indicative, August 2026, like every other price here). The members are Afrodite, Artemide and Medusa (women), Apollo, Ermes and Zeus (men), and Ares (unisex). Zeus, the most searched of the seven, opens on cardamom, cinnamon and citrus and settles into tobacco, patchouli and vanilla.
The named Luxury fragrances are original creations in 50 ml, at around 60 euros: Nadir (men) and Imperatrix (women), released together as the brand’s ten-year anniversary pair, plus Multiverse and Astral24. There are also special editions such as the Paris Edition and the 25 ml Scented Love.
What all of these share is the important bit: they are original creations, inspired by no existing perfume. Anyone searching for “the Zeus equivalent” will come up empty, because there is no equivalent. And if someone tells you Nadir is a dupe for some designer scent, they are making it up.
Unbending, Scarlet Fire and the marketing names
To complicate matters, some numbered references also travel under a name. These are not new collections, they are the same fragrance with a label that is easier to say out loud.
- Unbending Woman is number 156, and Unbending Man is 150 (it shows up as 205 on older lists).
- The Luxury tier carries poetic relabels: 118 appears as “Scarlet Fire”, 137 as “Sicilian Garden”, 117 as “Velvet Smoke”.
The name changes, the number and the liquid do not. Order by number and you get the same bottle.
Old numbers and new numbers
Chogan recatalogued part of the range and some perfumes moved to a different code, mostly in the 150-160 and 280-292 blocks.
One caveat: these pairs are not guaranteed to be the same liquid. Some new codes look like they follow a later version of the original perfume. If you are replacing a bottle you liked, order the code you had rather than its counterpart on the newer list.
There is a children’s line too
References 045, 058 and 059 are perfumes for kids, in roughly 15 ml bottles, made with less essence and formulated as hypoallergenic. They match no adult perfume, so their absence from every equivalence list is expected.
The short version I send when people ask
A number means inspired by something, a name means an original creation, and a 3 in front of the number means another size. With that in hand, any Chogan number list stops being a puzzle.
If you have a number in your hand and no idea what it is, message me and I will tell you. It is the question I get most and it takes seconds to answer. For the company behind all this, I wrote a guide to what Chogan is.
